EEver wonder if there is free pass to tell a white lie? I mean… Is it ever okay to lie? To not be completely truthful? Okay to withhold information? I mean… what if you just really don’t want to hurt someone’s feelings? Or how about when someone asks you to go to an event you don’t want to go to… can you make up an excuse? That doesn’t count as a lie, right? Right?

This week’s pod comes to you courtesy of a listener topic submission wanting to know, “Is it ever okay to NOT be completely honest?” Perhaps you have found yourself asking the same thing. In this episode, I look at a couple key questions to ask yourself to see if you should or should not be totally truthful. I also look at the role “silence” plays in how we convey our truth (or not) to others. This pod explores:

  • How to navigate “hurt” in being honest
  • How to acknowledge the message you are sending through your silence
  • Free permission to process the way you process, even if it’s not super vocal
  • The low-down on white lies
